Student Of The Month

Calder Student of the Month Program

Each month, one student from every class will be selected as the Student of the Month to celebrate their outstanding contributions to our school community. This program encourages students to embody Calder’s core values: teamwork, respect, resilience, and a love for learning.

Criteria for Selection:

Each teacher selects a student who:

• Demonstrates Leadership: Positively influences classmates and sets an example.
• Shows Academic Effort: Works hard and strives for improvement.
• Exhibits Kindness and Respect: Treats peers and staff with care and fairness.
• Engages in the School Community: Actively participates in class and school activities.

Recognition:

• Monthly Celebration: All recipients will be celebrated in the Monday video and during a small ceremony at the end of each month.
• Certificate of Achievement: Each student will receive a personalized certificate to take home.
• Feature on the “Student of the Month” Wall: A photo and blurb about why each student was chosen will be displayed on a bulletin board.
• Special Reward: A book and a bookmark
